We hope to see you at some of our shoots and events around the State! Below is a regularly updated list - please check back often.  Don't forget to follow the Banquet link to the left for details on our yearly banquet - make sure to plan and attend!

January 7 & 8, 2017

Rib Mountain Bowmen Winter Traditional Shoot

Saturday  8am to 4pm and Sunday for 8am to 2pm.

There will be 14 indoor 3D targets and 14 outdoor 3D targets.

We will also be offering a breakfast and lunch on both days.

RMB is located at: 2385 Julip Drive, Wausau, WI 54401; about 2 miles north of Wausau, Hwy 51 north and exit 197, go west on Cty. WW 1 mile, turn right, north, on 32nd Street and follow it around two turns and two hills to the RMB sign.

Sherwood Forest Bowmen in Sussex will be hosting an indoor 3D brush shoot and an outdoor 3D shoot.

Shooting hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Breakfast, lunch, and beverages will be available.

Beginners and Experienced Bowyers Welcome!
Fun for the whole family. Information and discussions on how to get started building self-bows, common problems and how to handle them, stave selection, bow backings, tools and more.
Space, equipment and tools available to get a good start on a bow of your own. Large practice range to shoot.

Free Primitive camping available beginning Fri. April 21  Saturday evening pot luck dinner & campfire.

Cost:  Free will donation for Bow Jam (proceeds to go to WTA)  Staves available for sale on site
Ojibwa will be holding their annual spring traditional shoot concurrently with Bow Jam. There will be regular shooting fees on the 3-D courses The practice range will be open and free to use. Breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase

What to bring:
Camping gear and warm cloths
Food & beverages for yourself/family
Dish to pass for Sat. evening pot luck
Bows (traditional) and arrows (field points)
Tools (some will be available for use)

30 outdoor targets - $10 or $15 for the weekend, camping is available with a limited number of spots open so please reserve a spot if you plan to camp. There will be a $10 camping fee, payable when you arrive.

Food and refreshments will be available both days, and refreshments will be available on the course.

30 Rinehart targets set on 40 wooded acres with varying terrain.  Traditional equipment only.  Registration:  Saturday 8-4, Sunday 8-1

$10.00  one time, $15.00  all day, $20.00  all weekend. (Kids under 12 Free, 12-16 - $5.00) 

Raffle, Novelty shoot. 

Food and beverages available  Friday night fish fry, Saturday night charcoal chicken
